"Really poor cabin service"
Not a great experience. Staff mostly ignored us. Had to ask more than once. Meals finally came out cold. Disappointing.

"Gourmet disappointment at 30,000 feet"
Flew with Qantas and wow, the food was quite the experience, just not in a good way. My meal arrived cold, dry, and tasted like it had been patiently waiting since the last ice age. Drinks took forever to come around, and the options were limited too. For what you pay, I expected a lot better. Let’s just say I won’t be rushing to enjoy the onboard “dining” again.

"My bags arrived late and damaged"
The flight itself was fine, but the baggage handling was really disappointing. My suitcase took almost an hour to come out, and when it finally did, one of the wheels was cracked. I spoke to the staff at the desk, but they really didn’t seem too concerned about it. not what I expected from Qantas.

My frequent flyer points feel pointless most of the time. Whenever I try to use them, I can never seem to find fair reward seats, which is really frustrating

"Fees, fees, fees everywhere"
At first the flight price looked decent, like okay, not bad. But then the bag fees showed up, then the seat fees, and suddenly it was way more than I thought it would be. Qantas Airways just doesn’t feel cheap anymore, and the value isn’t really there for me now

I use the Qantas Airways app mainly for check-in and boarding passes, and it’s been good for me. It just kind of does what I need without too much fuss. I haven’t had any major crashes or weird issues lately, which I really appreciate. Sometimes it feels a bit slow, especially when I’m changing flights or trying to pull something up quickly, and that can be a little annoying. But overall, I’ve got a good feeling about it. Not perfect, but I’d definitely say it’s reliable enough.

"Good luck getting a response"
It might be fine if you never need help, but in my experience, once I contacted support, it was like talking to a wall. I waited for a reply and never got anything back. Frustrating if you're depending on them to actually respond.

"Booking on the site was such a pain"
I tried to book a flight and the whole website felt like a headache because the pages kept freezing right when I was trying to move to the next step and then the login kept sending me in this annoying loop, so what should’ve been a quick booking ended up taking way longer than it needed to.

and I used qantas.com to check in for my flight, which did work in the end, but it definitely took a bit longer than I thought it would.

The site felt a little slow, and I had to put in some of my details again at one point, which was annoying. The boarding pass came through fine though, so at least that part was easy.

Overall, it wasn’t a bad experience, just not as smooth as I expected. It would be better if the check-in pages were clearer and loaded a bit faster.

Boarding was a mess. The lines were confusing, everything moved way too slowly, and even the staff seemed irritated. For what you pay to fly, I’d expect the process to be a lot more organized.

I booked through qantas.com, and the flight was uncomfortable. The seat felt hard after about half an hour, and the lack of leg room was just unnecessary. I’m not even that tall, but my knees were basically pressed into the seat in front of me.
I couldn’t sleep or really settle in at all, and by the time we landed my back was aching. For what I paid, I definitely expected a better experience. Disappointing overall.

"Still waiting on my refund"
I’ve been waiting weeks for my refund from Qantas Airways and it feels like I’m just being sent in circles. Every email gets the same copy-and-paste response with no actual date or useful update. I get that delays can happen, but this has gone on way too long. From this experience, it really feels like they’re quick to take your money but make refunds a whole different battle.
